Overview
Project Manager - Commercial Fit Out (Design & Build Cat B).
Location: Birmingham (Office, Site & Home Based).
Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + Package + Bonus.
Project Values: Up to £2m.
Travel: Fully Expensed. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work between the office, live project sites and home.
Responsibilities
- Managing Design & Build Cat B commercial fit out projects up to £2m.
- Leading projects through design development, procurement, delivery and handover.
- Working closely with designers, consultants and internal pre-construction teams to provide practical design input.
- Developing and managing project programmes using Microsoft Project.
- Full commercial oversight including cost control, variations, forecasting and reporting.
- Acting as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Managing subcontractors and supply chain partners.
- Proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely and in line with quality expectations.

About You
We are looking for a driven and commercially aware Project Manager with proven experience delivering commercial fit out schemes within a Design & Build environment.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven track record delivering D&B Cat B fit out projects.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational and programme management ability.
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
- Experience managing projects from design stage through to completion.
- Confident using Microsoft Project.

- Construction Management degree or equivalent (desirable)
