We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to join the delivery team on a £50 million industrial unit development in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a flagship project from the early stages, working with a leading main contractor on a large-scale industrial scheme.
The Role
As Senior Engineer, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of the project, taking responsibility for engineering activities across the site and supporting the project team from groundworks through to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and coordinating all site engineering activities
- Setting out and overseeing subcontractor works
- Reviewing drawings and resolving technical queries
- Producing and managing QA documentation
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and specification
- Coordinating with the Site Manager, Project Manager and design team
- Mentoring Site Engineers where required
- Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and quality
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on large industrial, commercial or logistics projects
- Strong setting out and surveying background
- Excellent knowledge of QA procedures and construction standards
- Confident managing technical issues and coordinating subcontractors
- Able to work collaboratively within a busy site team
- CSCS card essential
- SMSTS or SSSTS desirable
