Buildforce Solutions are working with a well-established and respected regional main contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to deliver a £20m new build care home in Norwich. This is a key role within the business, offering full responsibility for running the scheme from pre-construction through to completion and handover. The project is already secured and forms part of a strong forward order book, providing long-term stability and opportunity within a growing contractor.
As Project Manager, you will take full operational responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, ensuring it is completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for:
- Managing the project from start to finish
- Leading site teams including Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors
- Programme planning and monitoring progress
- Managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement
- Coordinating with commercial and design teams
- Ensuring health & safety compliance across site operations
- Managing subcontractor performance and programme delivery
- Driving quality assurance and handover process
We are looking for someone who is confident running projects independently and has strong experience delivering projects of a similar value and complexity. You will ideally have:
- Proven experience delivering projects around £15m – £25m+
- Experience working for a main contractor
- Strong leadership and client-facing skills
- Experience delivering healthcare, care home, residential or similar schemes (desirable)
- Ability to manage projects from pre-construction through to completion
Essential Qualifications:
- SMSTS
- CSCS (Black or White Card preferred)
- First Aid at Work
