I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Design Manager to join a Tier 1 main contractor on a major industrial and logistics project in the North West.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Design Manager who wants to take ownership of a large project and play a key role from design development through to delivery. We’re also open to experienced Design Managers who are ready to step up and run their own project.

The role:

You’ll take responsibility for the design management function, working closely with the client, consultants, subcontractors and wider project team to ensure the design is coordinated, buildable and delivered to programme.

The contractor has a strong and varied project pipeline, including:

  • Large-scale industrial and logistics
  • Commercial
  • High-rise residential

We’re looking for:

  • Senior Design Manager experience with a Tier 1/main contractor
  • Strong design coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • Industrial and logistics experience preferred
  • Alternatively, strong commercial or high-rise residential experience
  • Someone capable of taking ownership of a project
  • Strong understanding of the design process from pre-construction through to delivery
