We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading subcontractor delivering a major student accommodation development in Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer with a strong background in reinforced concrete (RC) frame construction to work on a long-term project with up to 12 months of work available.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying works for RC frame and associated structures.
- Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
- Producing and maintaining accurate site records.
- Managing quality control and ensuring works meet required standards.
- Coordinating with site management, subcontractors and design teams.
- Monitoring progress and assisting with programme delivery.
- Supporting health and safety compliance across the project.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on RC frame projects.
- Strong setting out experience using robotic total stations and surveying equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- CSCS Card (essential).
- Relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience working for specialist concrete or RC frame subcontractors is highly desirable.
