We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading subcontractor delivering a major student accommodation development in Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer with a strong background in reinforced concrete (RC) frame construction to work on a long-term project with up to 12 months of work available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting out and surveying works for RC frame and associated structures.
  • Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
  • Producing and maintaining accurate site records.
  • Managing quality control and ensuring works meet required standards.
  • Coordinating with site management, subcontractors and design teams.
  • Monitoring progress and assisting with programme delivery.
  • Supporting health and safety compliance across the project.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on RC frame projects.
  • Strong setting out experience using robotic total stations and surveying equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • CSCS Card (essential).
  • Relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience working for specialist concrete or RC frame subcontractors is highly desirable.
