We're looking for an experienced Site Manager to take control of a fast-paced industrial unit project in Liverpool. This is a 7-week assignment where you'll be responsible for driving the project forward on site while the Project/Contracts Manager is away. We need someone who is proactive, organised and confident leading trades to ensure the programme stays on track.

The Role

  • Day-to-day management of the site and subcontractors
  • Keeping works progressing in line with the programme
  • Coordinating trades and resolving on-site issues quickly
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety
  • Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings
  • Liaising with the client, subcontractors and project team
  • Ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout

About You

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on industrial or commercial construction projects
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Someone who is visible on site and keeps momentum going – not someone who manages from the site office
  • Able to work independently and make informed decisions
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates are essential
