We're looking for an experienced Site Manager to take control of a fast-paced industrial unit project in Liverpool. This is a 7-week assignment where you'll be responsible for driving the project forward on site while the Project/Contracts Manager is away. We need someone who is proactive, organised and confident leading trades to ensure the programme stays on track.
The Role
- Day-to-day management of the site and subcontractors
- Keeping works progressing in line with the programme
- Coordinating trades and resolving on-site issues quickly
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety
- Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings
- Liaising with the client, subcontractors and project team
- Ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on industrial or commercial construction projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Someone who is visible on site and keeps momentum going – not someone who manages from the site office
- Able to work independently and make informed decisions
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates are essential
