We are currently partnering with a leading Tier 1 main contractor to recruit a Managing Quantity Surveyor for a pivotal leadership role within their commercial team. This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the UK’s most respected contractors, renowned for delivering complex, high-value projects and maintaining an exceptional reputation across the construction industry.

As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of 3–4 live projects, providing strategic commercial oversight across a varied portfolio. You will play a key role in ensuring strong commercial performance, risk management, and consistent delivery standards across multiple schemes including Commercial buildings, High-rise residential schemes, Student accommodation and Mixed-use regeneration projects. Project values typically range from £20m to £80m, offering significant scale, complexity, and variety. This is a role where you will genuinely influence outcomes at both project and business level, working closely with senior leadership and operational teams to ensure excellence in delivery.

About You:
- Strong experience as a Senior QS or Managing QS within a main contracting environment
- Proven track record delivering large-scale projects (£20m+)
- Experience leading and developing commercial teams
- Strong contractual knowledge (JCT / Design & Build experience preferred)
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
- Commercially sharp, proactive, and driven by high standards
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary circa £90,000 – £95,000
