Site Manager in Faringdon

SITE MANAGER | £6M SCHOOL PROJECT | FARINGDON We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to take the lead on a £6m new-build school project in Faringdon, starting in September. This is a great opportunity to take a project from start to finish, overseeing two separate blocks and working closely with the wider project team. 🏗️ £6m new-build education project 📍 Faringdon 🏫 Two separate blocks 🚀 Start September 📅 Full project lifecycle 🏢 Tier 3 contractor specialising in education 💰 Up to £70k + package 💷 OR £300 per day 🔄 Permanent or freelance The Role You’ll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, including: * Managing the project from start through to completion * Coordinating and managing subcontractors * Planning and sequencing works * Ensuring works are delivered to programme * Reviewing and implementing RAMS * Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks * Managing site health & safety and maintaining high standards * Coordinating materials, deliveries and plant * Liaising with the Project Manager, engineers and wider site team * Reading and working from drawings and specifications * Carrying out regular quality inspections * Identifying and resolving site issues * Managing snagging and ensuring works are completed to a high standard * Keeping accurate site records and reporting progress * Attending site meetings and coordinating with the client and wider team You’ll need: ✅ SMSTS ✅ CSCS ✅ First Aid ✅ Strong Site Management experience ✅ Ideally experience delivering education / new-build projects ✅ Ability to manage subcontractors and take ownership of a project If you're an experienced Site Manager looking for a project where you'll have real ownership from day one through to completion, get in touch. 📩 Message me for more information or a confidential chat. #SiteManager #ConstructionJobs #EducationConstruction #Faringdon #Oxfordshire #ConstructionRecruitment #FreelanceConstruction #Buildforce
