Are you an experienced MEP professional looking for your next step with a leading main contractor in the Midlands? Our client, a highly respected contractor with a strong presence across the region, is looking for an experienced Building Services Manager.
The Role: This is a site-based position, overseeing all M&E works across a range of exciting new build projects within an hour of Birmingham. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical / electrical background, with good working knowledge of electrical systems to coordinate across the full MEP spectrum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all on-site MEP activities (Mechanical & Electrical)
- Ensure safety and quality standards are upheld throughout the delivery phase
- Review and contribute to design discussions, offering technical insights
- Liaise with subcontractors and in-house teams to ensure seamless integration
- Drive project milestones and assist with planning, procurement and commissioning
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management
What We’re Looking For:
- Comfortable coordinating electrical elements on site
- Background with MEP subcontractors or working in a similar role with a main contractor
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Familiarity with health & safety, quality assurance, and design processes
