*About the Role*
We are in the middle of a business wide digital transformation. New software and better ways of working across the whole company. The digital team is a key department here. It sits at the centre of how the business is changing: our systems, our data and the way our people work. This is a hands on role. We need someone with the drive to improve things, the people skills to bring staff with them and the ability to juggle several projects at once. You will take ownership of our systems and the productivity of our staff. You will be given real guidance and real responsibility from day one. Your work will land on a real shop floor within weeks.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Rollout various software and efficiency improvements across departments, eliminating manual processes where automations can be developed * Support staff productivity: training, support and follow-up on the software and tools we use * Juggle several projects at the same time and keep them all moving * Configure our systems and keep them used optimally, working with vendor support to get issues fixed * Manage custom work and integrations with our software partners, from brief to QA and delivery * Use data to identify where the business loses time and money and help fix it * Help the team make good use of AI tools where they add value * Play a role in safeguarding the integrity and security of our IT systems
*Candidate Requirements*
* A can do attitude and a real drive to improve things * Strong people skills. You bring staff with you rather than push systems at them * Organised and able to juggle several projects at the same time * Comfortable around code and APIs. Uses AI tools where they help * Data driven, with strong attention to detail * Thinks outside the box and enjoys taking the lead * Excellent oral and written communication, proactive with updates and guidance, comfortable training staff * Programming experience is a plus.
