We are seeking a motivated individual to join the E-commerce team.
Working Hours:
- Full time: Monday-Friday: Start at 3am or 4am, and finish at 12 noon or 1pm.
- Part time: Monday - Friday: Start at 3am or 4am, and finish at 8am or 9am.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick stock and prepare customer orders for dispatch via sealed pallet(s).
- Ensure all orders are dispatched with the correct shipping labels and corresponding paperwork.
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage or loss.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Liaise with the E-commerce department to ensure clear communication on the status of orders ready for dispatch is always maintained, with customer satisfaction a key priority.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed.
- Liaise with onsite security and yard teams to ensure efficient and accurate dispatch of prepared orders.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the working area(s).
- Ensure customer requirements are met in a timely, controlled, and recorded manner.
- Undertake any other duties that are reasonably requested.
Person Specification:
- Previous warehouse experience is required.
- Counterbalance forklift licence is required.
- Able to complete training for 2–3 days during normal business hours.
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise workload.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Computer / IT literate and confidence in using/willingness to learn how to use fulfilment systems.
- Able to safely carry out manual handling tasks on a daily basis capable of lifting up to 30kg.
