We are looking for an experienced E-commerce Click and Collect Operative to join our Acton branch.
Your duties will include
- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all orders are checked, labelled and ready for collection within agreed timescales.
- Serve customers collecting orders and assist with loading vehicles safely.
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional Click & Collect area.
- Manage customer returns and resolve collection-related issues.
- Warehouse & Branch Support
- Carry out general warehouse duties, including stock replenishment and housekeeping.
- Assist with Goods In, stock checks and general warehouse activities where required.
- Support other areas of the branch during quieter periods.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health and safety at all times.
- Carry out manual handling duties, including lifting products up to 30kg.
- Customer Service
- Deliver an excellent customer experience and represent Builder Depot in a professional manner.
- Work closely with branch colleagues and the E-Commerce team to ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently.
- Handle customer queries and provide updates when required.
Person Specification
Experience
- Previous warehouse or builders' merchant experience is desirable.
- Counterbalance forklift experience and licence are preferred.
- Previous customer service experience would be advantageous.
