This is a technically demanding, high-profile scheme and a genuine opportunity for an ambitious PM to put their name to a flagship City project.

The project involves a full cut & carve refurbishment, retaining and remodelling the existing structure while carving out new floors, cores and facades to create a modern, high-specification office. It demands a project manager who thrives on the structural complexity, logistical constraints and exacting quality standards of a major City refurbishment.

The role includes reporting to senior management, taking full ownership of the project through to handover, leading the site team, driving the programme, and managing commercial, technical and client delivery. You will be the senior point of contact for the client and design team and set the standard for safety, quality and pace on site.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overall delivery of the project to programme, budget and specification
  • Leading and developing the project and site management team
  • Managing the complexities of cut & carve and structural refurbishment works
  • Owning the client relationship and chairing project and design team meetings
  • Driving health, safety and quality across all works
  • Coordinating subcontractors, logistics and the sequencing of a constrained City site

What you'll need:

  • Proven experience delivering high-value refurbishment projects, ideally cut & carve or structural refurbishment
  • A track record of running schemes of £30m+ from start to finish
  • Strong understanding of complex City of London delivery and its logistical demands
  • Excellent client-facing and leadership skills
  • Relevant qualifications and tickets (CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid); a construction-related degree or equivalent is advantageous

What's on offer:

  • £110,000 - £125,000 basic, depending on experience
