Roughing Joiners Required – Immediate Start £800 – £900 per week | Monday–Friday | 8am–3pm | Ongoing Work

We are currently recruiting experienced Roughing Joiners to join a growing residential construction contractor delivering kit house extensions and structural timber projects across Central Scotland. This role is ideal for joiners who specialise in structural and external joinery, working on extensions, timber kits and roofing systems, within a professional and well-organised site team.

The Role

You will be working on timber kit extensions and residential builds, carrying out all aspects of roughing / structural joinery. Typical duties include:

  • Constructing timber frame structures and kit extensions
  • Installing rubber roofing systems (EPDM)
  • Fitting bifold doors and external openings
  • Structural framing, roof structures and floor systems
  • Working from drawings alongside site management
  • Ensuring high standards of workmanship and site safety

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Roughing Joiner / Carpenter
  • Experience with timber frame, kit extensions or structural joinery
  • CSCS Card required (Blue Skilled Worker preferred)
  • Own tools and PPE
  • Ability to read drawings and work efficiently on site
  • Reliable and able to work within a site team
