We’re looking for an experienced Design Manager to join the team on a £25m Distribution Centre project based in Aylesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of a major industrial scheme, working closely with consultants, subcontractors, and the wider project team.

The Role:

  • Manage and coordinate design information from pre-construction through to completion
  • Chair design team meetings and lead consultant and subcontractor coordination
  • Manage design programmes, RFIs, and information release schedules
  • Ensure compliance with planning conditions, Building Control, and BREEAM requirements
  • Carry out technical reviews and support value engineering opportunities
  • Provide design input into procurement and support the project delivery team

About You:

  • Proven experience working as a Design Manager within construction
  • Strong understanding of the design process and technical coordination
  • Experience on industrial or distribution centre projects preferred
  • Organised, methodical, and confident managing multiple workstreams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
