We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to take ownership of mechanical and electrical delivery across two major new-build distribution centre projects. This is a critical technical leadership role, responsible for managing MEP subcontractors, coordinating interfaces with civils and structural teams, driving commissioning phases and ensuring quality and programme performance across all services packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Full management of MEP packages from design development through to commissioning and handover
- Coordination of mechanical, electrical, fire, life safety, BMS and utility systems
- Management of MEP subcontractors, including procurement support and performance control
- Driving commissioning strategies and phased handovers
- Chairing technical and coordination meetings
- Managing interfaces between structure, envelope and services
- Reviewing designs for buildability and risk
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and safety standards
- Monitoring programme, progress and quality of MEP works
Key Requirements
- Strong background in MEP management on industrial, logistics, data or advanced manufacturing projects
- Experience on shell & core and infrastructure-led schemes
- Proven commissioning and handover experience
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders
- Main contractor or principal delivery background
- Relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications preferred
