I\’m currently recruiting on behalf of a top client of Build Space, to add to a top design team working across some very interesting projects!
With projects spread across the M4 corridor, spanning life sciences / pharmaceuticals, mega logistics parks, and data centres, now is a great time to join an established yet growing business and make your mark on the sector.
Design Manager Responsibilities:
- As a Design Manager, you\’ll work within the Design team, supporting projects across sectors including Commercial, Life Sciences / Pharma, and Industrial & Logistics.
- Contribute design input at both preconstruction and construction stages.
- Produce design programmes, scopes, responsibility matrices, appointments, and schedules.
- Attend and chair meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
- Ability to manage projects and deliver quality work on time and within budget.
- Successful design management of construction schemes of £10m or more.
- Relevant design or equivalent qualification.
