Site Manager - Nationwide Location: Nationwide - extensive UK travel requiredContract Length: PermanentStart Date: 2 November 2026Salary: 50,000-55,000 packagePattern: Full-time, nationwide travel | Black CSCS requiredSector: Commercial Fit-Out / Light Industrial / DWP The Role We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a growing team delivering nationwide commercial projects, predominantly across light industrial and design & build fit-out environments.

The role will involve taking responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of projects from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. Projects are typically valued at around 500k, with a significant proportion of the work being delivered for Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) environments. Due to the nationwide nature of the work, the successful candidate must be comfortable with regular UK travel and working away from home when required.

Ideally, candidates will be based around 1-2 hours or more from Milton Keynes, giving them good accessibility to projects across the country. Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day delivery of commercial fit-out and light industrial projects.

Take ownership of site operations from mobilisation through to completion.

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within agreed quality standards.

Manage site logistics, sequencing and short-term programmes.

Conduct site inductions, briefings and toolbox talks.

Monitor progress and report against programme.

Liaise with the Project Manager, client and wider project team.

Maintain accurate site records and documentation.

Ensure all works comply with relevant H&S legislation and company procedures.

Drive quality, snagging and handover through to completion.

RequirementsProven experience as a Site Manager within commercial fit-out, light industrial, refurbishment or design & build environments.

Experience managing projects in the region of 500k.Strong subcontractor and site management experience.

Good understanding of construction programmes, sequencing and site logistics.

Strong health & safety awareness. SMSTS and Black CSCS required.
