Our client is one of the UK's most active Construction Main Contractors in the Industrial & Logistics, Critical Infrastructure and Pharma / Life Sciences sectors. They build at pace, they build at scale, and they do it properly. Right now, they need a Quality Manager who can keep up. This is not a desk job. You'll be covering live project sites across the M1–M25 corridor — inspecting, auditing, recording, and making sure standards are held across every part of the build process. Not just the on site delivery. Everything.

You’ll report into one of the Senior Quality Managers and will play a genuine role in shaping how quality is managed going forward — developing new records and processes, while working within their existing systems. It’s a role with real influence if you want to use it.

Quality Manager background and responsibilities:

  • A Main Contractor background — someone who knows how a job is built from the ground up
  • Strong communicator who can work across all levels of a project team
  • Experience with QA records, NCRs and inspection processes
  • Happy to jump in the car and get to site — a full UK driving licence is essential
  • Major project experience with a Tier 1 Main Contractor is essential

This role would suit a highly experienced Construction Manager looking to make the move into a Quality Manager role. If you are passionate about working to best practice, if you are process driven and keen to deliver projects to the highest standards of both build quality and health and safety, then this could well be the perfect role for you. Our client offers highly competitive salaries and packages to all staff and the technical and professional development they offer is industry leading.
