A leading design & build commercial interiors contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
The business delivers fast-paced interior fit-out projects ranging from £500k to £20m, with a typical project value of £1.5m–£4.5m. This role will take ownership of multiple live projects, working closely with the delivery and design teams to manage costs across the full lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Full commercial management of D&B interior fit-out projects
- Preparing and managing project budgets and cost plans
- Procurement of subcontractors and supplier packages
- Managing valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Cost reporting and forecasting across multiple projects
- Supporting project teams with commercial strategy and risk mitigation
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Proven Quantity Surveying experience within interior fit-out or refurbishment
- Strong understanding of Design & Build contracts
- Experience managing projects in the £1m–£10m+ range
- Commercially driven with strong cost control capability
- Excellent stakeholder and subcontractor management skills
- Degree qualified or equivalent preferred
- £80k–£90k salary
- Potential to convert to a permanent role
