We're recruiting an Assistant Project Manager to join a growing construction contractor supporting the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a supportive environment while working alongside experienced Project Managers on a variety of construction projects.

The Role

  • Assist with the delivery of construction projects from start to finish
  • Support Project Managers with programme management
  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
  • Attend site meetings and record project progress
  • Monitor project costs and variations
  • Assist with procurement of materials and subcontractors
  • Ensure projects comply with Health & Safety legislation
  • Support quality inspections and snagging
  • Maintain project documentation and reporting
  • Build strong relationships with clients and site teams

Requirements

  • Previous experience within the construction industry
  • Experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Site Engineer, Site Supervisor or similar
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good understanding of construction processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ambitious with a desire to progress into Project Management
