The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Night Manager / Site Manager for a short-term retail refurbishment programme across operational food-retail stores. The role will involve managing overnight ceiling replacement works, ensuring subcontractors and trades are properly coordinated and that all works are completed safely and within the agreed programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all night-time site activities.
- Supervise ceiling replacement and associated refurbishment works.
- Coordinate subcontractors and specialist trades.
- Monitor progress, quality and productivity.
- Ensure RAMS and health & safety procedures are followed.
- Liaise with store management and project stakeholders.
- Manage site logistics and materials.
- Conduct regular site inspections.
- Resolve day-to-day site issues.
- Maintain accurate site documentation.
- Complete shift handovers and progress reports.
- Ensure the store is left safe and ready for trading.
Experience Required
- Previous Site Manager / Night Manager / Site Supervisor experience.
- Strong retail refurbishment or fit-out background.
- Experience working within live trading environments.
- Ceiling / suspended ceiling / interior systems experience advantageous.
- Strong subcontractor and trade management skills.
- SMSTS / SSSTS preferred.
- CSCS card required.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Comfortable working 5–6 night shifts per week.
- Available from 4th October to 19th November 2026.
