An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier One Property Services Contractor within their Responsive Maintenance division in the Weybridge area. This role offers the chance to play a key part in delivering a major reactive maintenance framework, managing commercial performance, and mentoring junior staff in a supportive, high-performing team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor junior and admin staff within the commercial team
- Oversee pre- and post-contract commercial activities, including CVRs and reporting
- Handle subcontractor procurement, measurement, valuations, and final accounts
- Drive value and ensure strong cash flow management
- Maintain contractual and compliance standards, including health & safety
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, supply chain, and internal teams
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in responsive maintenance
- Strong knowledge of NHF Schedule of Rates
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proactive, commercially focused, and career-driven
