We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a variety of projects within the social housing sector, including internal refurbishments, external works, and retrofit schemes. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong leadership, and the ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations across internal, external, and retrofit projects.
- Ensure health & safety, compliance, and quality standards are met at all times.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and direct labour.
- Build strong relationships with residents, clients, and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, budget, and programme targets.
- Resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively.
- Carry out site inspections and ensure snagging and handover are completed to client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the social housing sector.
- Strong knowledge of internal refurbishments, external works, and retrofit projects.
- Up-to-date SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid qualifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in occupied housing, with a customer-focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
