We are working with a maintenance and property services company to recruit a self-employed Oil Service and Breakdown Engineer in the Somerset area to do servicing and breakdowns in social housing properties for 4-6 months on a busy contract.
Paid per service and for repairs the rate will be hourly:
- £24 per service/ per hour using company van
- £26.50 per service/ per hour using own van
Job Role:
- Planned servicing and maintenance of oil-fired boilers
- Diagnosing and repairing faults
- Dealing with customers daily providing excellent customer service
- Driving to various properties
- Emergency breakdown visits
- Out of hours rota
Requirements:
- Oil qualification essential
- Domestic Gas Engineer qualifications/ Gas Safe Card – desirable
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Dealing with customers daily
- Full UK driving license
