Role Overview:
Carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance on social housing properties across Swindon and surrounding areas. This role involves joinery and carpentry works alongside general multi-trade maintenance duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsive joinery and carpentry repairs
- Basic plumbing, tiling, plastering and flooring repairs
- Damp and mould treatment works
- Completing repairs to a high standard on occupied properties
- Delivering excellent customer service to tenants
- Accurately updating works via handheld devices/tablets
- Participating in out-of-hours callout rota
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Carpentry or Joinery
- Multi-trade experience
- Experience within social housing or maintenance
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently
- Customer-focused attitude
