Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Floor Layer to join a long-term social housing contract covering the Staines area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established maintenance contractor delivering responsive repairs, planned works, and refurbishments across residential properties.
The Role
You will be carrying out a wide range of flooring installations and repairs within occupied and void social housing properties, ensuring all works are completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard.
Key Duties
- Installation of sheet vinyl flooring
- Cap and cove wet room flooring
- Ceramic tiling and floor repairs
- Subfloor preparation and screeding
- Applying self-levelling compounds
- Flooring repairs in kitchens, bathrooms, and communal areas
- Measuring and cutting materials accurately
- Using PDA systems to update works
- Working closely with tenants and maintenance teams
