Overview: We are currently recruiting for a Remedial Manager to support works across a police estate in Hampshire. This role will be based out of the main office in Southampton, with regular travel to sites across the county. The position will focus on managing a backlog of remedial works, with approximately 60% of the role dedicated to overseeing around 100 outstanding remedial tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess incoming remedial tasks across the estate
- Plan and coordinate works with in-house engineers and subcontractors
- Prioritise and manage a backlog of remedial works to ensure timely completion
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with compliance, health and safety, and client requirements
- Liaise with stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of works
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate records and reporting
- Attend sites across Hampshire as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar remedial or maintenance management role
- Strong technical background in either mechanical or electrical disciplines
- Relevant trade qualification (mechanical or electrical)
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Compliance & Certifications:
- Enhanced DBS (required)
- Ability to pass Police Vetting
- Asbestos Awareness certification
