Temporary Contract 12-Hour Shifts 4 On / 4 Off
We are currently recruiting an experienced Commercial Electrician to work in Surrey on a temporary contract.
The successful candidate will be suitably qualified, have strong experience within commercial building services, and be confident carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial electrical systems and equipment.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests, diagnosing faults and completing repairs.
- Undertake electrical fault-finding and ensure systems remain safe and operational.
- Support general building services maintenance as required.
- Ensure all works comply with relevant electrical regulations, health and safety requirements and site procedures.
- Complete maintenance records, job sheets and reports accurately.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high service standards.
Requirements
- Relevant electrical qualifications, such as a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician within building services or facilities management.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
- Good understanding of electrical safety, compliance and health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
