About the Company
Our client is a well-established contractor delivering planned maintenance and refurbishment works across the social housing sector. With a strong pipeline of roofing projects, they are looking to appoint two experienced Site Managers to support delivery across key schemes.
The Roles
- We are recruiting for two Site Managers:
- One to be based on a project in Thanet
- One to oversee multiple short-term schemes (6 - 12 weeks) across the South East
Both roles will focus on roofing works within occupied social housing properties, requiring strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations on roofing schemes within social housing
- Supervise subcontractors and site teams to ensure quality and productivity
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations
- Liaise with residents, client representatives, and internal teams
- Monitor programme progress and address any delays or issues
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications
- Support Resident Liaison Officers where required
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing refurbishment/maintenance
- Strong background in roofing projects (essential)
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- Valid CSCS Card
- Excellent health & safety knowledge
- Strong IT skills (able to use tablets, reporting systems, and Microsoft packages)
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence
