We are working with a growing specialist contractor operating across roofing, cladding and external envelope projects who are looking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to support the delivery of multiple live contracts across the North-West.
This is a key operational role focused on driving projects through from pre-start to completion, ensuring programmes are maintained, subcontractors are managed effectively, and clients receive a high level of service throughout the project lifecycle.
The position would suit someone with strong operational and organisational experience within construction, ideally from a roofing, cladding, façade or external envelope background.
Key Responsibilities- Overseeing multiple live projects across roofing and external envelope works
- Driving programme performance and ensuring projects are delivered safely on time and within budget
- Managing site teams, subcontractors and operational delivery across several sites simultaneously
- Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and implementing solutions proactively
- Supporting commercial performance through strong operational management and programme control
- Ensuring high standards of health & safety, quality and compliance are maintained across all projects
- Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Senior Contracts Manager or similar operational leadership role within construction
- Strong organisational and programme management skills
- Background within roofing, cladding, façades or external envelope works is essential
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Ability to drive projects and maintain operational control across multiple sites
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Degree / HNC / HND in Construction Management or similar
- NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management
- SMSTS
- NEBOSH
