Job Title: Fit Out Quantity Surveyor (4-Month Contract)
Location: Newcastle – On-site
Start Date: ASAP

Role Overview: The Quantity Surveyor will manage all cost-related aspects of the project from procurement through to final account. The ideal candidate will have experience in the commercial fit-out sector and be confident working independently under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of cost control and reporting on a high-value fit-out project
- Manage procurement of subcontractors and materials
- Review and negotiate subcontractor quotations and packages
- Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts
- Monitor project progress and maintain accurate cost tracking
- Provide commercial support to the site team and project managers
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
- Liaise with client QS and supply chain to resolve commercial queries
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the fit-out or interiors sector
- Strong understanding of JCT contracts
