An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Projects Director to join one of the UK's leading façade contractors. This is a business with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex, high-value façade packages, where quality, innovation and client relationships are at the heart of everything they do.

We're looking for an inspirational leader who can drive project performance, mentor high-performing teams and deliver exceptional commercial and operational results across multiple major projects. This is a genuine board-level leadership opportunity where you'll play a key role in shaping the future growth of the business.

The Role

As Projects Director, you'll take full responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple façade projects from pre-construction through to completion. Working closely with the Operations Director and senior leadership team, you'll oversee project strategy, profitability, programme delivery, client relationships and the development of your project teams.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading multiple high-value façade and cladding projects
  • Driving profitability, programme and quality across your portfolio
  • Supporting pre-construction on key tenders and project strategy
  • Building, mentoring and developing Project Managers and delivery teams
  • Maintaining exceptional client and stakeholder relationships
  • Championing Health & Safety and operational excellence
  • Managing project risk, governance and commercial performance
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards

About You

You'll already be operating at Projects Director, Senior Contracts Director or Regional Operations level within the façade, curtain walling or cladding industry. You'll possess:

  • Extensive façade/building envelope experience
  • Proven success delivering multiple high-value projects
  • Exceptional commercial awareness
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management abilities
  • A track record of delivering profitable projects safely and efficiently
  • Outstanding communication and organisational skills

Essential Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 7 Construction Senior Management (or equivalent)
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Management Card
  • CITB Health & Safety for Directors (desirable)
