Role Overview:
Looking for an experienced Plumber Multi to join their team working on the Stonewater contract across Bristol, Chippenham, Swindon and surrounding areas. This role involves delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance works within social housing properties while providing excellent customer service to residents. Core hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Company van, fuel card and power tools provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out plumbing repairs and basic carpentry works within occupied and void social housing properties
- Completing works efficiently and to agreed turnaround times
- Identifying when additional trades are required and communicating with supervisors
- Working collaboratively with other operatives to complete repairs and projects
- Using PDA/smart phone technology to update progress and complete job records
- Ordering and collecting materials required for works
- Delivering excellent customer service to tenants and client representatives
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding policies at all times
- Operating in line with occupational road risk policies and procedures
Requirements:
- NVQ / City & Guilds in Plumbing, Carpentry or equivalent experience
- Full UK Driving Licence (no driving bans within the last 5 years)
- Experience within social housing preferred but not essential
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
