Job Title: Repairs Planner / Work Coordinator (Temp to Perm)Location: Manchester – 5 mins from St Peter’s Square\\n Contract: Temporary (6–7 weeks) – Potential to go permanent\\n Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)\\n Weekly Hours: 45\\n Office Requirement: Full-time office-based (potential to WFH Fridays)\\n\\nAbout the RoleWe are looking for a proactive and highly organised Repairs Planner / Work Coordinator to join our facilities management team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. Based in Central Manchester, you will play a critical role in planning and coordinating reactive repairs and PPMs (Planned Preventative Maintenance) across multiple sites, with a primary focus on our Leeds University contract.\\n\\nYou’ll work closely with a team of 10 engineers, scheduling jobs, tracking completions, maintaining spreadsheets, and ensuring communication is seamless between stakeholders, engineers, and clients. Experience in FM (Facilities Management) planning is highly desirable.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\nPlan and schedule reactive repairs and PPMs across multiple sites\\n\\nCoordinate engineer workloads and monitor job progress through to completion\\n\\nLiaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of services\\n\\nMaintain detailed records, spreadsheets, and scheduling databases\\n\\nProvide updates and reports on outstanding works and performance metrics\\n\\nIdentify and escalate delays, risks, or issues to relevant stakeholders\\n\\nGeneral administrative support including document handling and communication\\n\\nRequirements\\nMinimum 1 year of planning/scheduling experience\\n\\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project)\\n\\nPrevious experience planning within Facilities Management or Social Housing\\n\\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal\\n\\nHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skills\\n\\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
