About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and professionalPainter and Decoratorto join our dynamic maintenance and construction team in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to work onhigh-end residential properties, delivering work to the highest standard. You’ll be part of a supportive team, with opportunities to expand your skillset and assist other trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all types ofpainting and decorating works,both interior and exterior
- Prepare surfaces using appropriate methods and materials
- Select and apply a wide range offinishes, including paint, varnish, and wallpaper
- Install carpet tiles and stair nosingsas required
- Support and assistother trades, contributing to multi-skilled site teams
- Procure necessary materials and equipment for jobs
- Use amobile appto complete job sheets and documentation
- Work withinhigh-end residential environments, maintaining cleanliness, discretion, and attention to detail at all times
- Ensure all work is completed to an impeccable standard, aligned with client expectations
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of5 years’ experiencein the building and maintenance industry
- RecognisedCity and Guildsqualifications or equivalent
- Experience working inluxury or high-end residential settings
- Solid understanding ofHealth & Safetypractices
- Proven track record in commercial or residential maintenance work
- Ability to work independently and flexibly, including overtime or out-of-hours work if required
- Good communication skills and acustomer-firstattitude
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred but not essential)
