Our client is looking for an experienced Stock Controller to join their team based in Trafford Park, Manchester. The successful Stock Controller will ideally have experience in stock control within a busy Distribution Centre or inventory environment. This is initially a temporary position but there is potential for this role to become permanent for the right candidate!
Experience / Requirements needed:
- Experience in stock control within a busy Distribution Centre or inventory environment.
- Ability to analyse and manipulate data to inform stock decisions.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and ability to maintain safe working practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to complete tasks accurately under pressure, maintaining attention to detail.
- Computer literacy, particularly Excel; experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) desirable.
- Product knowledge of building materials desirable.
- Forklift licence / experience desirable.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- Professional, value-led with integrity, inclusivity, and respect for diversity.
- A passion to advocate on behalf of people and communities.
