We are recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Site Engineer to join a high-profile commercial building in Central London. This is a static role working split shifts Monday to Friday, offering long-term stability and a competitive salary of £48,000.
The ideal engineer will be confident working across both mechanical and electrical systems, comfortable taking ownership of PPM delivery, and able to respond quickly to reactive issues. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the site, and participation in the callout rota is expected.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out regular inspections to identify issues and required maintenance
- Take the lead on ensuring all PPM tasks are completed on time
- Deliver both reactive and proactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems
- Work on a range of building services including:
- BMS and electrical monitoring
- Lighting control systems
- AHUs, FCUs, air handling and air conditioning equipment
- Domestic water services and cooling towers
- Fire alarm and fire prevention systems (VESDA, suppression, sprinklers, voice alarms)
- Generators, load banks and controls
- Variable speed drives
- AC, DC single and three-phase motors
- UPS systems, batteries, static switches and controls
- Emergency lighting
- Low voltage switch panels and breakers
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background
- Experience working in commercial building services
- Good fault-finding ability across HVAC, electrical plant and fire safety systems
- Confident working independently and taking ownership of site performance
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to support fabric tasks when required
- £48,000 basic salary
