Maintenance Engineer in London

Maintenance Engineer – Up to £45,000Location: Static Site – Mayfair, LondonSchedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (with overtime when required)

We\’re seeking a proactive and dependable Maintenance Engineer to take ownership of the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and compliance of building systems within a high-end, client-occupied site in Mayfair. This role suits someone who enjoys working autonomously, takes pride in maintaining an immaculate building environment, and delivers a consistently high level of service.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlanned Preventive Maintenance (PPM):

Carry out daily walkarounds to inspect floors, walls, doors, and general finishes for wear or damage.

Inspect BMS, fire alarms, leak detection systems, and other control panels.

Inspect plant rooms, lighting, and overall building condition.

Conduct weekly checks and maintenance of kitchen grease traps and shower traps.

Coordinate and schedule PPM activities with the helpdesk.

Complete painting and fabric repairs, including weekly office wall touch-ups during quieter periods.

Record all findings, elevate issues promptly, and ensure close-out of remedial works.

Reactive Maintenance & Site Operations:

Manage and prioritise daily reactive tasks using the client\’s FM system.

Ensure all follow‐up actions are carried out efficiently and professionally.

Serve as the main point of contact on site for all maintenance‐related matters.

Support out‐of‐hours works (evenings/weekends) when required, including supervision of special events.

Join weekly catch‐up meetings with the client to discuss ongoing maintenance tasks, priorities, and upcoming works.
