About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Shift Engineer to join our engineering team in Hammersmith. The role involves carrying out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance on a critical site while working to a continental shift pattern. This position suits an engineer with strong technical expertise, particularly across electrical distribution and building services systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site
- Work on electrical systems including LV distribution, switchgear, emergency lighting, and small power
- Provide first-line response to alarms, faults, and breakdowns
- Carry out testing, inspection, and statutory compliance tasks in line with regulations
- Support building services operations including BMS resets and monitoring
- Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
- 3 years’ experience in electrical maintenance (commercial or critical environment)
- Knowledge of LV systems, emergency lighting, and compliance procedures
- Ability to work continental shift patterns (days and nights)
- DBS check required prior to appointment
