Multi-Trade Operatives
At Build Recruitment, we work exclusively with built environment specialists around the UK. Our client is looking for Multi Skilled Operatives to join their team on a 12 week temp to permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be working on their Social Housing Repairs contracts in planned and reactive maintenance to void and tenanted properties. You will mainly be working in the Knowsley contracts but will occasionally be working on the Salford contracts. They are looking for a candidate with experience working on wet rooms, bathrooms and kitchens.
Duties of the successful Multi Skilled Operative will include:
- Liaising with clients and tenants ensuring appointments and repairs are completed to a high standard.
- Using their skillset to work effectively in a team to carry out general home maintenance repairs to void & tenanted properties.
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in as many of the below duty areas:
- Kitchen, bathroom & wet room replacements
- Joinery β UPVC doors & windows, Internal doors & frames, Skirting & architrave etc
- Plastering β Patch Plastering, Damp repairs, full room plastering
- Tiling β Screed & vinyl tiles, Ceramic Wall Tiling
- Painting & Decorating
And must also have the below qualities:
- Hold a relevant trades qualification (NVQ2 or equivalent)
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean)
- Have experience in Social Housing Repairs
- Have, or are willing to have a DBS check
Pay rate β Β£20PH CIS (First 12 weeks) based on a 40 hour week. Salary after 12 weeks β Β£34,000 per annum. Van and fuel card provided.
