The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
A great opportunity to start a long term temporary site role in Liskeard, Cornwall. Working for a busy tier 1 national contractor you would be responsible for the duty of Traffic Marshall. The project is estimated to last around 5 more months, at this time it may be extended. You would remain in this role until the end of the project.
Day to day:
- Banking forklift and heavy plant on site.
- Using radio, good communication.
- Traffic management.
- Controlling pedestrian traffic flow around the perimeter of the project.
- Labouring, this will be expected during quiet spells.
- Assisting deliveries and visitors.
- Site safety, helping to maintain a safe working environment.
- Taking instructions from management.
- Reporting and or rectifying hazards.
Requirements:
- Must have a CSCS, NPORS or CPCS card.
- Must have some form of traffic marshall or banksman training.
- Must have a degree of physical fitness as this is essential for the duties of the role.
- Must be happy to do odd manual labouring tasks to keep busy.
- Professional at all times.
- Good work ethic & timekeeping.
- PPE.
- Previous experience is not essential but will be beneficial.
- Driving licence is not essential but will be beneficial due to job location.
