The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

A great opportunity to start a long term temporary site role in Liskeard, Cornwall. Working for a busy tier 1 national contractor you would be responsible for the duty of Traffic Marshall. The project is estimated to last around 5 more months, at this time it may be extended. You would remain in this role until the end of the project.

Day to day:

  • Banking forklift and heavy plant on site.
  • Using radio, good communication.
  • Traffic management.
  • Controlling pedestrian traffic flow around the perimeter of the project.
  • Labouring, this will be expected during quiet spells.
  • Assisting deliveries and visitors.
  • Site safety, helping to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Taking instructions from management.
  • Reporting and or rectifying hazards.

Requirements:

  • Must have a CSCS, NPORS or CPCS card.
  • Must have some form of traffic marshall or banksman training.
  • Must have a degree of physical fitness as this is essential for the duties of the role.
  • Must be happy to do odd manual labouring tasks to keep busy.
  • Professional at all times.
  • Good work ethic & timekeeping.
  • PPE.
  • Previous experience is not essential but will be beneficial.
  • Driving licence is not essential but will be beneficial due to job location.
