Build Recruitment are looking for an experienced Electrician to join a leading housing maintenance team covering Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary, company van & fuel card, excellent benefits and long-term career stability.
You will be carrying out responsive electrical repairs within occupied social housing properties, delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service on every job. The Role
- Carrying out responsive electrical repairs and maintenance & testing
- Working within domestic/social housing properties
- Covering Portsmouth and surrounding areas
- Monday to Friday 39 hours per week
- Company van and fuel card provided
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- Experience working within a customer-focused environment
- Ideally experience within social housing or domestic maintenance
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Experience completing EICRs
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent
