Build Recruitment are looking for an experienced Electrician to join a leading housing maintenance team covering Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary, company van & fuel card, excellent benefits and long-term career stability.

You will be carrying out responsive electrical repairs within occupied social housing properties, delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service on every job. If you take pride in your work, can work independently and enjoy making a difference for residents, this could be the perfect role for you.

The Role

  • Carrying out responsive electrical repairs and maintenance & testing
  • Working within domestic/social housing properties
  • Covering Portsmouth and surrounding areas
  • Monday to Friday 39 hours per week
  • Company van and fuel card provided

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
  • Experience working within a customer-focused environment
  • Ideally experience within social housing or domestic maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

  • Experience completing EICRs
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent
