We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a leading social housing provider's Responsive Repairs Team, covering the Isle of Wight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out responsive electrical repairs and maintenance within occupied and void properties.
- Electrical fault finding, testing, inspection, and remedial works.
- Fixed wire testing and certification.
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems up to 230v/415v.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.
- Accurately completing certificates, reports, and job documentation.
- Interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Delivering excellent customer service whilst working in residents' homes.
Essential Qualifications:
- NVQ LVL 3 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- C&G 2391-52 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Qualified electrician with experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.
- Strong knowledge of electrical testing, inspection, installation, and maintenance.
- Ability to complete certification and documentation accurately.
- Experience working within social housing or responsive repairs environments is desirable.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
