Site Manager – Isles of Scilly Location: St Mary’s, Isles of Scilly Project: Carn Thomas Housing Development Rotation: 12 days on / 2 days off Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a major housing development on St Mary’s, Isles of Scilly. The project involves the construction of 27 new social housing dwellings, alongside extensive civil and infrastructure works on a steeply sloping site. The ProjectThe works include: 27 new residential dwellings Earthworks and groundworks Retaining structures Drainage and utilities Roads and infrastructure External works Civil and structural construction About the RoleAs Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. We are looking for someone with: Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction Strong civil and structural construction experience Experience managing site teams and subcontractors Knowledge of earthworks, drainage, infrastructure and retaining structures Strong understanding of construction health & safety Ability to manage site activities and keep works on programme Excellent communication and organisational skills SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications Experience working on remote or logistically challenging projects would be highly advantageous.
