Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer's Mate to join a leading social housing contractor delivering responsive repairs and maintenance services across Havant and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation, providing support to roofing teams carrying out repairs and maintenance on occupied and void social housing properties.
Key Responsibilities Assisting Roofers with responsive roofing repairs and planned maintenance.
Preparing materials, tools and equipment for roofing works.
Carrying out roof strip-outs and assisting with the installation of new roofing materials.
Loading and unloading materials safely.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
Assisting with guttering, fascias, soffits and roofline repairs.
Working in occupied and void social housing properties.
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
Essential Requirements Previous experience working as a Roofer's Mate or Roofing Labourer.
Experience working within roofing repairs or maintenance.
Ability to work at height safely.
Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites.
Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Benefits £18.90 per hour.
Monday to Friday working hours.
