We are currently recruiting an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-established business operating within the fire door industry, based out of Glasgow. This is a 12-week temporary to permanent opportunity, offering a clear route to long-term employment for the right candidate.

The Role

  • Managing multiple fire door contracts simultaneously
  • Carrying out site surveys and producing accurate costings and quotations
  • Overseeing installation, remediation, and maintenance works
  • Ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and industry standards
  • Liaising with clients, site teams, and subcontractors
  • Monitoring programme progress, costs, and quality of workmanship
  • Completing and reviewing project documentation and reports

About You

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within construction or fire protection
  • Fire door industry experience is essential OR an experienced Joiner with the ability to survey, price, and manage projects
  • Strong knowledge of fire door regulations and compliance standards
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage workloads independently and professionally
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport (essential)
