We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Foot Mobile Engineer to join our facilities management team, covering commercial properties throughout the Soho area of London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer who enjoys working in a varied environment, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and general building maintenance across multiple sites.
Working on a foot-mobile basis, you will travel between properties within your designated area, ensuring buildings and facilities remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a portfolio of commercial properties.
Respond to reactive maintenance requests and complete repairs efficiently.
Undertake general building maintenance and repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical and fabric maintenance tasks within your competency.
Diagnose faults and identify suitable solutions to minimise disruption.
Carry out routine inspections to identify potential maintenance issues.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety requirements and relevant regulations.
Complete job sheets, maintenance records and compliance documentation accurately.
Manage daily workloads effectively while travelling between sites on foot.
Liaise professionally with clients, building users and other members of the facilities management team.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service across all properties.
Requirements
Previous experience in a maintenance engineering or building maintenance role.
A multi-skilled background, with experience in general building maintenance and repairs.
Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
A strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload across multiple locations.
A professional and customer-focused approach.
Comfortable working in a foot-mobile role, travelling between sites throughout Soho.
