Overview:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Door Installer on behalf of our client, a leading specialist in passive fire protection. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional and well-established company that takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation of fire doors in residential and commercial settings (new build and refurb projects)

Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with current fire safety regulations and industry standards (BM TRADA, FIRAS, etc.)

Measuring, fitting, and adjusting doors and ironmongery to meet fire rating specifications

Conducting remedial works where required

Completing installation reports and documentation to a high standard

Liaising with site supervisors and project managers to ensure smooth job delivery

Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Fire Door Installer

Strong knowledge of fire door regulations and passive fire protection systems

Relevant NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Carpentry or Joinery

BM TRADA / FIRAS accreditation (preferred but not essential)

Full UK driving licence

Own tools and PPE

Good communication skills and professional attitude
